Exemplary education
Lewis Center students are served by the Olentangy Local School District, which primarily covers Delaware County and a small part of Franklin County. The school district educates more than 20,000 students and includes four high schools, five middle schools, 16 elementary schools, and a preschool program. OLSD is widely recognized as one of the top-performing school districts in Ohio, even receiving the highest rating of “Excellent With Distinction” on its most recent report card from the Ohio Department of Education.

A short drive down to where Lewis Center Road converges with US-23 will take you to several local conveniences, including a fitness center, Kroger grocery store, and quick bites from Jersey Mike's Subs and Starbucks. Traveling a little farther on US-23 will bring you to Menards, one of the area's largest home improvement stores.
Overall, Lewis Center is a unique venue for dining, where well-known chain restaurants meet locally owned favorites. The authentic Venezuelan dishes at The Porch and Chinese specialties at Silk Road Asian Cuisine are sure to curb your cravings!
Parks & recreation
Whether you want to work out at the local aquatic center or take a stroll through the local community gardens, you'll always be able to find an activity to keep you moving in Lewis Center. Here, you could spend days on end exploring the area's many community parks and nature trails. While Shale Hollow Park is a go-to destination for its winding wooded trails, Ro Park to the south is known for its serene picnic setup.
